Did you finally get your new Top notch phone? Yes! 🔥
You're now at the stage of transferring data from your old phone to your new one, and we've prepared a full guide for you to do just that. 🚀
iPhone to iPhone
Transferring your data from your old iPhone to your new one is as easy as child's play. ✌🏼
- iCloud backup : Before you start, make sure your old iPhone is backed up to iCloud. In your old iPhone's settings, select your name, then iCloud, then iCloud Backup. Press "Backup Now".
- Setting up the new phone : Turn on your new Top notch iPhone . As part of the initial setup, you'll have the option of restoring from an iCloud backup. Select this option and connect to your iCloud account.
- Select backup : A list of available iCloud backups will appear. Choose the most recent backup.
- Wait for restore : Your new phone synchronizes with the iCloud backup. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the backup. Once the restore is complete, all your data, applications, contacts and settings are transferred to the new phone. Now you can start using it!
Android to Android
Even if the software isn't the same, it's possible to back up your Android data in the Cloud and transfer everything easily. 🙌🏼
- Google backup : Check that your Android phone is backed up to your Google account: in Settings, go to "System and Backup". Activate the backup on your Google account if you haven't already done so.
- Setting up the new phone : Turn on your new Top notch Samsung . During the initial setup, connect to your Google account.
- Data synchronization : Your new phone will automatically start synchronizing your Google account data: contacts, photos, applications and settings.
Tu peux maintenant commencer à l’utiliser !
Android to iPhone
If you've decided to swap your Android for Apple, data transfer is a little more complicated, but not impossible! 💪🏼
- Migration app : On your old Android phone, download the "Migrate to iOS" app from the Play Store.
- Setting up the new phone : Turn on your new Top notch iPhone. During the initial setup, you'll have the option to "Migrate data from Android".
- Phone connection : A code will appear on your iPhone, type it into your "Migrate to iOS" application on your Android so that the two phones connect together.
- Data synchronization : Select the data you want to transfer.
- Wait for restore : Your new phone synchronizes with the Google backup. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the backup. IMPORTANT: leave the "Migrate to iOS" app open on your Android, keep both devices in close proximity and we also advise you to plug in both phones during the operation. Once the transfer is complete, all your selected data will be transferred to the new phone. Now you can start using it!
iPhone to Android
Again, a little more difficult than when you stay in the same system, but we explain how to do it quite easily.👇🏼
- Migration app : On your old iPhone, download the "Switch to Android" application from the App Store. Make sure both phones are connected to the same WiFi.
- Setting up the new phone : Turn on your new Top notch Samsung and log in to your Google account. During initial setup, you'll have the option of " Copy applications and data ".
- Phone connection : The best option is to connect both phones via a USC-C lightning cable to ensure that everything is copied (in this case, connect the cable to both phones when suggested). You also have the option of doing this via WiFi, although some data may not follow in the transfer (in this case, click on "No cable". Next, click on the "Switch from iPhone or iPad" button. A QR code will appear on your Android, scan it with your old iPhone.
- Data synchronization : Select the data you want to transfer. The application will invite you to deactivate iMessages on your old iPhone to ensure that you receive your text messages correctly on your Android device once the SIM card has been inserted. You'll also be asked to accept that your iCloud photos be transferred to your Google Photo account.
- Wait for restore : Your new phone synchronizes with the Google backup. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the backup. IMPORTANT: leave the "Switch to Android" application open on your iPhone, keep both devices close together if you're doing it without a cable, and leave the cable firmly connected between the two devices if you're using one. Once the transfer is complete, all your selected data is transferred to the new phone. Now you can start using it!
Thanks to this simple guide, you can now transfer all your data to your new Top notch phone super easily. 🙌🏼
